Information about Rovinj Town

This tower is the highest of its kind in Istria. It was created in the 17th century. At the top of it is a bronze statue of St. Euphemia. The second thing to experience is old town. Old town is located overlooking a harbour. While walking along on its paths you will find many different shops, an open air painting exhibit, and the Carrera. For those who like to bird watch, you should check out Palud Bird Reserve. This reserve is a protected area next to the coast. It features a vegetation, wetland, and different bird species. If you want to experience the food there at an elegant restaurant, you should check out the Wine Vault Restaurant.

It combines French cuisine with a variety of different wines from all around the world. One more place to experience is Red Island beach. This beach is one of the most beautiful beaches in Istria. The park has over 120 plant species to look at and features a lovely beach, mausoleum on Maškin and Count Hütterot Castle.
